A friend and coworker commissioned me to design a logo for his brand identity as a solo musician. After presenting initial thumbnail sketches, we landed on treating the name with a custom brush script.
I tested a few layouts in Illustrator before we ultimately decided on lowercase letters on a slant. After polishing up the vector, I burned a silk screen to print a small run of shirts for one of his early shows.
